Really? I loved El Jefe. Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of most of the villains, especially toothpick, but it was still a really fun game.

Whats interesting about me is that I tend to thing of games through a sort of "lens". I focus on the concept rather than the reality of the characters/levels. For instance, Don Octavio. Now, in Sly 3 he wasn't amazing. (don't get me wrong, I love all the Sly games. Try to calm the nerd rage, for I am one of you) Anyways, he was fun but not the most merorable villain in the series by any means. But when you think about the concept, everything changes!

Listen to this: Don Octavio is an old Italian Lion who used to be an opera singer. But when other types of music drown out opera, he gets really bitter. He starts his own mafia. THE MAFIA! THATS AWESOME! And he wears a super-cool creepy phantom of the opera mask and a suit. He has a whole network of creepy masked mobsters who aren't afraid to kill.

He is a terrorist. HE BLOWS UP ENTIRE BUILDINGS! THAT MEANS THE PEOPLE DIED! Now, Octavio was pumping the waters of Venice with tar. Although not seen to this extent in Sly 3, I like to imagine a city drowning in tar. Venice is mostly on the water. Imagine all the hot, stinking, thick black tar on the streets and in the canals! And remember, tar is very flamable. So when Octavio sinks a building, the ocupants are either burning to death, being crushed, or drowning. Thats hardcore.

Also, he is a lion! Lions are cool! If his character model was improved, he could look very menacing, not to mention awesome. And he's phsicaly strong also. He nearly beats Bentley to death, and then fights Sly in the tar-smothered city streets.

So think about that. That sounds like the coolest villain ever! And it gives you a little more respect for the character. Also, I mentioned a little before, I like to imagine better character models. Better textures is a big one for me, and overly artistic/surreal details and faded but bright colors....it basicaly all mixes up to make a very cool way to think about it.

Well, that was fun. LOL.
