My opinion is that a tv series is bad and good. Good, because it will bring more popularity to the Sly Universe and hence more games! But he downside is that it'll probably won't be good because of the franchise's fans. I mean, if it aired on Cartoon Network, not only it will be childish, it will also not stand a chance against more popular shows like Adventure Time and Regular Show. And someone referred to each mission being a 1-hour episode? I think the episodes will be 20 mins as the show will probably be aimed for a younger audience. Someone will have to think of mission ideas and structures... And let's just face it, SuckerPunch is the only one with the correct formula for creating a proper Sly mission.
First off a warning, this is long but worth it.  I didnt really do a good job of explaining what I meant did I?  My fault, I am not very good at communicating.  He is right about what he said though, dont get me wrong.  I was righting under the assumption that you all had the same idea I had.  It goes like this.  First off, It would not be aimed at younger audiences.  It would be aimed at those that either grew up with it or played with their kids.  It would be watched by late teenagers, adults, and their kids.  Also, I meant the actual level, not the jobs.  That way each villain can be properly dealt with in an hour rather than with what can be done in about twenty minutes.  And trust me, even on cartoon network, this show would be strong.  This is because the shows you mentioned are not as popular as you might think.  Haven't you noticed that those shows along with Mad, Johnny test, and many other "new hits" have ended up in the recycle bin called Cartoon Planet along with the shows that were successful but ran their coarse.  A show with action, suspense, romance, more action, and moral messages would succeed.  Next, I did not mean for it to go on a standard cartoon channel.  There are plenty of channels where this would work.  Althogh I do see it working out on CN at night just before AS.  For the episodes themselves, yes it would have to be different from the video game.  But that is a simple process perfected over years of turning books to movies, books to shows, movies and shows to books, even video hames to books.  And heres something that can really bring things into view, You dont need high quality cinematics for the show,  The animation used for the vignettes of Sly, Bently, Murray, and Carmelita would be perfect.  And the cartoon animations would be perfect for intros, outros, and flash backs.  Next we have the fact that each game would be a season.  This will make a media loop.  As the show gets popular, a new season would be needed.  This will cause a game to be made,  As a new game is made, a new season is craved.  Both will keep the other going.  We watch a season while we wait for the next game and vice versa.  At this point you might be bored, I do apologize, I know the phrase is thrown alot out ther, but I am a philosopher of very old methods of thought.  However, if you wish I could just make a simple video on the subject and ask to post it here.  Or if you want, you can request that I open a discussion.  If you dont answer, I understand.  I am used to being ignored and will take the hint and not bother you all again as I would then stick to small comments.  Please state what you would like me to do here or on my page.  Sorry for the length

Dude! You have made your point and really I agree! But for now, until more info on the movie or the "show" (which we don't even know if the idea even exists) we'll have to wait... and I hope the next set of info is a bit larger and more informative on how the storyline will go
