"Ride the Chopper" was a cut job for Sly Cooper in "The Black Chateau" of Sly 2: Band of Thieves. It can only be played in the demos.

Synopsis

Background

Bentley needed access into Dimitri's nightclub so that he could loosen the peacock, but he was locked out.

The mission

With the gate to Dimitri's rear courtyard locked from the inside, Sly decided that the best way to gain access would involve riding the helicopter that was circling Paris, followed by dropping into the courtyard. Bentley thought that Sly's method was too dangerous, but Sly disagreed, as he would get along with danger. He then jumped onto the chopper and rode it all the way to the nightclub. Once there, he unlocked the gate, giving Bentley access inside.

Behind the scenes

This job was removed from the game because it was not only boring, but the map was changed as well. "Moonlight Rendezvous" was altered to have the same purpose as this job, thus claiming its former place.
