Sly Cooper: Network of Thieves was a game that was originally going to be included in the Sly Cooper series, being developed by Sanzaru Games and released for the PlayStation Vita. It was in development by 2008 but was eventually canceled during the process.

Development

Very little is known about the game, as it never entered production. An announcement for the game was made by Mat Kraemer on Facebook while the game was in development, but it was only visible to his friends on the social network. At around the time Sanzaru started working on Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, the game was shelved, and development was never recalled since.

While Sanzaru presented a demo of Thieves in Time to Sony, it is unknown if they ever presented anything involving Network of Thieves, as Kraemer did not specify this. Given the structure of one of the pieces of concept art, the game most likely was intended to have a similar structure to that of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, where jobs needed to be unlocked.[1]

According to the concept art and a few quotes from Kraemer on Facebook, the game was going to feature a level in Transylvania, and the main antagonist was going to be a bat named Dr. Mortimor. Only two official pieces of concept art for the game were ever released, both of which appear to be for said Transylvania level.
