Why doesn't Dimitri speak in the English version?

Basically the title. Dimitri was my favorite character in this series, but he can't speak in Thieves in Time. Why?MegaBossMan (talk) 18:44, April 12, 2014 (UTC)

Most likely budgeting/they couldn't get the same actor 22:00, April 29, 2015 (UTC)
Well, I am pretty sure that Sanzaru decided not to put speaking into a cinematic cutscene like Sucker Punch did at the end of Sly 2 (where Carmelita speaks even though Sly is doing the cutscene narration), so it would make sense that Dimitri has no spoken lines in the game, mainly because he only appears in cutscenes. The budgeting, however, would probably be another reason why David Scully did not return to voice Dimitri, but the former would probably be the stronger one. (Please note that Dimitri did speak in one of the trailers for the game, and Scully was available back then because the trailer was released in 2011, two years before SC:TiT came out.)

ok answer this

why is this article all in past tense?BowserBros65 (talk) 09:17, September 16, 2015 (UTC)

Because everything in the article has already happened. On this wiki, we write in-universe articles (articles about characters, jobs, places, etc.) in the past-tense, and real-world articles (articles about games, books, real-world companies like Sucker Punch, etc.) in the present-tense. This is not always the case, though. If you notice on the page about Sly Cooper, "he is currently stuck in ancient Egypt." I hope that makes sense. Tenbeat 15:51, September 17, 2015 (UTC)
