Timeline

Ok, I think it's time the place of this in the timeline was discussed, so I'll present the evidence for both sides and see what you all think.

So on the page for this, chronologically, it has been placed in 2 locations, either 1) between Bentley's Rescue and Murray's departure or 2) between An Opera of Fear and Episode 2: Rumble Down Under.

1) At the end of Sly 3, when Bentley talks about their past adventures, in the background are images of Adventures from the game, all of the game levels are listed in order, with "Goodbye My Sweet" listed before An Opera of Fear. If the others were listed Chronologically, then logically shouldn't this one be?

One other thing to point out is that Carmelita has the Mercenaries with her, putting it between the Epilogue page and the "Back at the safehouse" page in the comic

2) What is the actual Timing of the events in the Comic? Is there even time for an Adventure between the 2 pages? Does the adventure fit within the events of the character arcs at that moment?

Well, in the comic, it keeps mentioning Timing of the events of the Comic. Sly and Murray go to the hospital 1 week after visiting McSweeney. Then the part of the Issue with Carmelita takes place 3 days earlier than this, but late at night, and so let's say that Sly Cooper visits her in the early hours of the morning, placing his visit on the second day before visiting Bentley, then the Epilogue is 1 day later, placing this 1 day before Sly visits Bentley, and Sly visits Bentley either early morning or early Evening (sun is still setting), probably early Evening of the day after the Epilogue. For the last 2 pages it simply says "back at the safehouse", no time frame is given, but given the quickness of Sly learning of the map, getting the map and then getting Bentley, we could assume that this was almost straight after everything that happened at the hospital and now Sly wants to visit the Vault all in quick succession. Bentley is also shown to be making modifications to a regular wheelchair at which Sly says "Bentley's got himself all ready to go" as if he hasn't been ready to go out into the field before this (although, we don't see any modifications used in Goodbye My Sweet). Also, Murray's arc at this point is that lots of bad things had been happening to the Gang lately, and Murray feels responsible, yet the Chocolate stealin heist goes off without a hitch, so placing it between 2 pages of a comic doesn't really fit in with Murray's character arc at that moment, it better fits with after Opera of Fear when he's back to his A game. Also, if Murray getting pizza happens after Goodbye My Sweet, why are his clothes tattered? This would create a random Plot hole. It makes more sense that it happens after his fight In the hospital, after sly has gone back to help and then Murray gets sent to do a pizza run on the way back while Sly goes to check on Bentley, who to his surprise has already made modifications to a wheelchair. Given Slys quickness to learn about the map, get the map and get Bentley, I don't think it makes sense for him to pull a random chocolate heist before heading for the island, that wasn't his focus at that moment. But a fun chocolate heist once Murray had returned to the team makes more sense.

So with 1) we have the picture slide order at the last cutscene. With 2) we have, quick Timing of the map and travel plans showed in the comic, Murray's character arc, Bentleys implied not having been in the field in a wheelchair yet. Altho honestly, I don't think Sucker Punch has thought about continuity and timelines this much when they made the Goodbye My Sweet, hence it's placement in the final cutscene. Tbh neither did sanzaru with "Timing is Everything". Any other lines of evidence missed? Where do we think this most likely takes place out of the 2 options?

Side note, In both the comic and the animated short, Murray dresses up as a woman, put this on top of the Geisha, does Murray have a thing for dressing up as a woman?! XD XD
