I was wondering if these guards are actually antelopes. I was thinking they were ibexes, sure antelopes live in India but so do ibexes and in my opinion these guards do look more like ibexes then they do antelopes. I think we should rename this page Ibex guard instead of antelope guard, thanks. EH28 (talk) 02:16, June 28, 2016 (UTC)
- I agree with EH28. I found this credible source with a picture of a Himalayan Ibex (link 1). In my opinion this looks strikingly like a guard in Sly 2 pictured below. I see that there has been some conflict on what to name this guard, even at one point it was named goat. However, compared to the other animals that this guard was thought to be the ibex most closely resembles it. More animals that I have encountered including Indian Antelope are pictured here: link 2.
