Sly 3 intro?

It can also be said that the move is not usable during the Sly 3 intro, right? - RB1196 (talk) 22:10, December 6, 2018 (UTC)

Can't really say it conclusively for the final build of the game. In a previous build of the game, the move is certainly possible, but you're never given an opportunity to use it unless you manage to glitch your way to a guard somehow.  Shrev64  Talk  Contribs  Master Thief  09:21,12/7/2018
I'm pretty sure you're never given the option in the Sly 3 intro either. -User:Tenbeat (talk ¤ contributions) 01:09, December 8, 2018 (UTC)

Technique vs. Power-up categories

As far as categories are concerned, are power-ups and techniques interchangeable? For instance, the Stealth Slam technique isn't on the Gadget Grid, but is under the "Sly Cooper's power-ups" and "Murray's power-ups" categories. Should Stealth Slam be categorized as both? FinalSmash11 (talk) 03:41, February 20, 2019 (UTC)

Power-ups should be abilities that are purchased from ThiefNet, whereas techniques are, well, techniques. Default abilities. Just think of "power-up" and "gadget" being interchangeable. Is "x" a gadget? -User:Tenbeat (talk ¤ contributions) 00:32, February 21, 2019 (UTC)
I removed the power-up categories save for the "Ancestor's power-up" one. Should a technique like the Stealth Slam count as an "Ancestor's power-up" as well? Also, as far as I can think for now, there are no exact power-ups the ancestors can earn, moreso have by default. Are ancestors' power-ups treated as abilities for the wiki? Judging by the reasoning behind distinguishing between techniques and power-ups, it seems right to count them as techniques, especially since they are actually referred to as techniques in-game. Also, as a fellow user, I recommend you bring any questions or concerns to the Discord server, instead of posting the same question over and over on the talk page. - RB1196 (talk) 05:08, February 24, 2019 (UTC)
Oh...my bad. FinalSmash11 (talk) 18:40, February 24, 2019 (UTC)
No problem, really. It's just a friendly suggestion if you're looking for quick answers. Some people actually find it bothersome to have other ask repititive questions over and over again (just because they don't respond in a timely manner), , though in your case, it's really not an issue, since you only asked twice :) - RB1196 (talk) 04:19, February 25, 2019 (UTC)
