Clarity

This Page is overly detailed, it's supposed to be a brief timeline showcasing episodes and events that took place. Especially when it comes to the events of the main games this is apparent, the ancestor stuff is generally ok. The page lists way too many details about each episode e.g. "this happened and this happened and this happened" rather than simply saying "Episode 1: An Opera of Fear" it goes into everything that happens there. It should simply be a link to the page which details everything that happens there, so if people want more information they can get it. Also this omits other adventures like the train video from sly 3, and "timing is everything". Sure there are flashback events as well, so maybe have a look at

http://marvelcinematicuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline

This one has the timeline shown in three different ways, and this works well. So maybe this page should be done in a way similar, but as it stands right now this page isn't very effective. I.M (talk) 11:04, May 23, 2016 (UTC)

You're totally right. I'll try to make a new one, then link it so you can check it out. When it comes to Goodbye My Sweet and Timing is Everything, we actually don't know where they go in the timeline, but I guess I can include those in the "Unknown dates" section. -User:Tenbeat, Sly Cooper Wiki bureaucrat (talk ¤ contributions) 16:30, May 23, 2016 (UTC)
OK, so I edited the page down here. A lot of the ancestor stuff (in fact, I think all of the ancestor stuff) is still there, but the games have been reduced down to a link to the game and then one bullet point with the outcome of the game, such as "The Gang breaks into the Cooper Vault. Sly leaves the gang and joins Carmelita by faking amnesia," (after Sly 3, of course). I also added mention of Goodbye My Sweet and Timing is Everything in the "Unknown dates" section. Of course, it is still filled with a lot more explicit information than the Marvel timeline, but the Marvel timeline has to be shrunk down due to the absolutely massive amount of comics, movies, shows, games etc., that exist. -User:Tenbeat, Sly Cooper Wiki bureaucrat (talk ¤ contributions) 16:55, May 23, 2016 (UTC)
Lookin good, I'll add a media chronology as well into the mix, but this can be the "event chronology", as for timing is everything, there's only 2 possible spots for that, either after bloodbath Bay or before it. So for now, we can put that after bloodbath Bay, we can assume that there wasn't enough time for Penelope to make the van fly again before the cooper vault job hence the fireworks used by Panda King. But yeah I'll get to the media chronology, good job I.M (talk) 10:45, May 29, 2016 (UTC)

Minor Coopers

I may be missing something, but what are the sources/clues of the birth dates for Huckleberry Cooper and Colonel Reid Cooper? ~ FireSlug (talk) 16:48, May 28, 2016 (UTC)

That was actually speculation on my part. Sort of. I should have removed it before I moved it from my sandbox to the final page (I put them where they are based on Huckleberry Finn's approximate birth date and the fact that Reid is a colonel, presumably in World War I). And if you are wondering about Bruce O'Coop, he's a hacker, and obviously isn't Conner Cooper, so he had to be born before Conner but still be able to hack computers some time in his life. Sly's grandfather, probably, but we can't be totally sure. -User:Tenbeat, Sly Cooper Wiki bureaucrat (talk ¤ contributions) 01:20, May 29, 2016 (UTC)

Full chronology

The full chronology is redundant and overly confusing. I'm suggesting we remove it from this page. -User:Tenbeat (talk ¤ contributions) 05:42, August 16, 2016 (UTC)

Correct Year

The Latin and Spanish Sly Cooper wiki states that Sly, Bentley, and Murray are 22 in Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and that Carmelita is 25 in that game. This can all be pieced together to mean that by "after Sly 3", Sanzaru meant that the fourth game would have taken place a year after Sly 3, which was in 2006. Would this be our best option? Zoopmech-134 (talk) 05:49, July 19, 2020 (UTC)

Those ages are unconfirmed. We don't know exactly how long "after Sly 3" is, though it has been several months at least (see Sly 3 ending). So it could be in 2005 or in 2006, we just don't know for sure. – FireSlug (talk) 14:58, July 19, 2020 (UTC)
