Tsao family
The Tsao family was a family of nobles, who were the self-appointed rulers of a small village in the Kunlun Mountains of China. The most notable member of the family was General Tsao, who in the end ousted the family from the village.
History
The Tsao Family controlled the village for several generations, and their members, including General Tsao, were described as very powerful, and had no problems in obliterating anyone who threatened their superiority in the region.
As General Tsao's arrogance demonstrated, the family members usually relied on themselves, and prioritized the creation of a powerful bloodline, which was manifested by his intention of creating a stronger Tsao-King generation.
The palace in which the family lived for ages and its surroundings were totally controlled by the family, as their guards patrolled the streets and there were a significant number of traps in the vicinity. With Tsao's arrest, it is unknown what happened to the guards, but Sly Cooper mentioned that the locals where happy to see Tsao finally leave.
Black magic
The Tsao lineage, in addition to being extremely intelligent, resourceful and ambitious, dominated particular paranormal fields, which they often used for their own advantage.
These included hopping vampires patrolling the streets, undead hands emerging from the ground and dragon spirits which could also be summoned by the guards.
The family also had a "Stone Dragon of the Temple," which was invoked every time a family member needed greater support. The fate of the dragon after "Operation: Wedding Crasher" is unknown.
There was also the bamboo forest where Sly went to retrieve Bentley's laptop (and ultimately fight Tsao), where the energy from Tsao's ancestors' previous battles strengthened the combatants, allowing them to soar from one end of the forest to the other.
Guards
The Tsao family hired a number of guards to patrol around their village.
