Hey, there! I'm Tickles1, but I'd prefer to be called Spyro9, SpyroBiel, or just Spy, as I'd have used one of those if they were long enough. I enjoy drawing, reading, playing videogames, and more. I'm pretty shy at fist but start to open up when I feel comfortable around people.

My Sly Cooper Experience

I started getting into the Sly Cooper series when I was about four or five when my Mom picked up a copy of Sly Cooper and the Thievious Raccoonus. I was never really good at it when I way back then but I'd watch her and my oldest sister play it.

I REALLY got hooked when I was about seven or eight, when I first played Sly 2: Band of Thieves. It was one of the first games I'd ever completed, even though I let my brother play all the Murray and Bentley missions. It was also the first gam I'd aver 100% and the second I'd ever beat with no help, albeit about five or six years later.

After I beat Sly 2 I learned that there was a third Sly game; Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. I'd been doing well in school so Mom ordered a copy off the internet for me as a kind of "Good job; you've earned it" gesture. When it finally came in I played it well into the night, beating the first level in my first playing session and until I was told to go to bed.

About two years after I'd beaten Sly 3 I'd caught wind of a new Sly game. A few months later a teaser for Sly 4 as it was then known as had surfaced. I got REALLY hyped after Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time was anounced. I would spend every free second either looking for more info or hyping over what I'd manage to find. You should have seen me when the Rioich confirm got published!

When the game was finally released I snagged a copy the day after the launch. When I played it I was mesmerised, glued to the TV for hours. I'd once again managed to beat the first level in one play session and even a bit of the second. Unfortunately, as I played I started noticing many issues. For starters, a lot of the featurea I'd seen in the Binoc-U-Com had't made it to the final game. Second, a lot of the time I wouldn't land on ropes, hooks, or points whenever I hit Circle; he'd do the spinny thing but would't land right. The controls were also really stiff and slippery at the same time. All of the characters seemed to be really OOC as well except for Bentley.

In the end I'd be willing to say I was really disapointed. If Sly ever gets another chance I'd like to see him do better.
