Coyotes were enemy guards faced by Sly Cooper and the gang in "Go West Young Raccoon" of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. They serve as Sheriff Toothpick's rooftop guards.
Description
These canines are brownish-yellow with a white underside. They wear a cowboy hat and a holster around their waist. Their weapons of choice are two revolvers which they use to melee or shoot with. They can also use their hats or throw rocks. They occasionally can dodge attacks by the gang.
Trivia
- Their falling animation is a reference to the Warner Brothers character Wile E. Coyote who holds up a sign saying "Yikes!" as he falls.
- One of them was named "Red Eye Robles" at the sharpshooting contest during the "Grand Key Larceny" job and was voiced by Sam Riegel, who also voiced "Tennessee Kid" Cooper in the game.
- In the same job, multiple coyotes were in the Toothpick Brawl-a-thon and served as Murray's opponents before Wildman Weezner arrived. Coyotes even appeared alongside Wildman during the fight.
- Robles was the only coyote to be voiced by Sam Riegel. The rest of the coyotes had their vocal effects provided by Robin Atkin Downes.
