Taxonomically Inaccurate
Lupus gigantormous can't actually be a wolf by actual taxonomic standards. The standard gray wolf is Canis lupus, "Canis" being the generic name and "lupus" being the specific name. L. gigantormous would have "Lupus" as the generic name and "gigantormous" as the specific name, so it's not even in the Canis genus and thus isn't actually a wolf. Granted, Bentley could have meant that "gigantormous" was the subspecific name (Canis lupus gigantormous), but that was never established. —Preceding unsigned comment was added by TheAgent41 18:45, August 13, 2016 (UTC). - You are technically correct; however, this is how the creature was referred to in-game, and another job (Giant Wolf Massacre) does specifically refer to it as a wolf, so for our purposes, it is. If you would like to discuss the topic of a certain article, it would be better to use the forums, since talk pages are for discussing improvements to pages. Unless, perhaps, you would like to make this statement into a concise piece of trivia?
