Dimitri: Gah! So... Raccoonus Doodus, you're like totally bumming my house up and bringing me down. So very uncool. Why can't you let birds and bees be free, bro?
Sly: Listen, Dimitri, you have no idea what you're playing with. It'll bring more than your house down.

"Printing Press Duel" was a job for Sly Cooper in "The Black Chateau" of Sly 2: Band of Thieves. It is the final job in this episode and a continuation of "Operation: Thunder Beak."

Background

Sly confronted Dimitri in the printing press room and fought him for the Clockwerk tail feathers.

Synopsis

Sly confronting Dimitri

Having brought Dimitri's peacock sign to the ground and destroying the plaza fountain, Sly enters Dimitri's base of operations and confronts him who complains to the raccoon about him "bumming his house up" and that he should just let him continue with his operation. Sly warns Dimitri that the tail feathers are much more than just printing plates, but Dimitri does not care much and would much rather bribe Sly with counterfeit money to get him to leave him alone. Sly rejects his offer, saying that he and the rest of the Klaww Gang have to be stop before Clockwerk can be reconstructed.

Dimitri defeated

Unsure of what Sly was talking about, Dimitri challenges him to a duel. The two fight, tearing up the printing press room in the process. Dimitri starts messing with the console in a last-ditch attempt to protect his printing press, oblivious to Sly, who runs up behind him and struck him with his charge attack, tossing him into the top of the machine, sending him through the console and into an empty ink barrel. Dimitri laments the end of his counterfeiting operation, but Sly explains that he is doing him a favor and that there is no honor in printing money. Dimitri calls him a cracker-box before losing consciousness, giving Sly the opportunity to retrieve Clockwerk's tail feathers.

The Getaway

The gang is happy to have succeeded in retrieving the tail feathers and shutting down Dimitri's counterfeit operation. The trio's escape gets tricked because Constable Neyla and mostly Inspector Fox soon arrive to put Dimitri behind bars, and the cops shut down his nightclub.

The gang spends some vacation time in Monaco, where Bentley wants to try out his new card-counting formula and Sly feels the gang have deserve themselves a break.
