The Lion was one of the three members of the Forty Thieves (aside from Salim al-Kupar) remaining by the time Miss Decibel arrived in Ancient Arabia. He, along with the other two thieves, the Tiger and the Panther, were captured by Decibel and forced to do her bidding. The Tiger was later rescued by Sly and not touched by Decibel's forces ever again.
According to Miss Decibel, his favorite food is cobra tails.
He was the only thief of the three to be voiced by Steve Blum rather than Brian George.
