Walkthrough:The Dark Current
"The Dark Current" is a job for Dimitri in "Honor Among Thieves" of Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves.
Objective
The cane has gone into the waters! Safely retrieve it.
Goals
- Swim through the current and dodge the pinchers
- Defeat Dr. M's mutant fish
Walkthrough
Once the Guru knocks Sly's Cane loose, it falls into the water. Playing as Dimitri, swim through the current and avoid the claws that come at you from all directions with the the same four action buttons:

. You'll then enter a large cavern with Dr. M attached to his mutant fish. Use your harpoon gun to take out the creature. To beat this mutant, tap 
to fire the harpoon gun, aiming at Dr. M in the creature's hanging antenna. While you are doing this, the mutant will fire bombs at you that explode in both vertical and horizontal red shockwaves. Stay either off to the side or above/below the bombs to avoid the upcoming blast, depending on the position of their spikes.
After every four hits, the fish will attempt to swallow you. Shoot Dr. M after his shield goes down so that the fish will stop inhaling. When the fish is at half health, it will send its tentacles to block you. Simply stay above or below them to avoid them as they circle around the cavern. When it's down to a third of its health, it will turn its claws into guns and try to shoot you with green lasers. The lasers are unavoidable, so shoot each cannon quickly to disable them before they have the chance to lock onto Dimitri. Once you defeat the creature, the mission is both a success and a bust: the former is because you defeated Dr. M again, and the latter is because you still do not have the cane. Dimitri swims back to the ship and the job is finished.
