Decoy
Decoy, also called the Thief Replica Technique, is a power-up for Sly Cooper in Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. It was invented by Sir Andrew Cooper and is obtained from the 9th vault, not including blueprints.
This power-up will allow Sly to toss a black cardboard cut-out of himself that waves its arm; any guard that sees it will attack the decoy, rather than the real Sly. However, if Sly is too close to the guard when the power-up is activated, the guard could shoot him instead. The decoy will remain active until Sly moves too far away, switches power-ups, gets attacked or if he tips it over by walking into it.
This power-up does not appear in any following games. However, Bentley's Grapple-Cam in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves will cause enemies to behave in the same way if thrown into their line of sight.
