The symbol of my enemy. If you saw the wings silhouetted against the night sky, it was already too late for you. Especially if your name was Cooper.
― Sly Cooper[src]

The Clockwerk Wings were one of the parts that helped Clockwerk survive for hundreds of years. Sly Cooper described them as the symbol of Clockwerk.[1] They had given Clockwerk the ability to soar across the skies and hunt down members of the Cooper Clan.

History

Clockwerk replaced his organic wings with metal ones so that he could live on forever and stop himself from aging.

Sly 2: Band of Thieves

Unlike the other Clockwerk parts, the wings were not used for any evil means. Rajan had taken the wings as aesthetic items to showcase his prestige in India, throwing a royal ball as a grand event to highlight his possession of them. On the night of the party, the Cooper Gang arrived to steal the artifacts and found Rajan to have welded the wings onto a large statue behind his throne.[2]

After removing them from the statue and sneaking them out from under Rajan's nose, Sly Cooper and the gang stored them in their van and drove off. The wings were among the many Clockwerk parts stolen by the Cooper Gang discovered by Jean Bison who then sold all the Clockwerk parts to Arpeggio.[3] Arpeggio used the wings to help rebuild Clockwerk's frame, and they later disintegrated along with the rest of the Clockwerk parts when the Hate Chip was destroyed by Carmelita.[4]
