Ape guard
Ape guards, also known as Andre, were enemy guards encountered in "Fire in the Sky" of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. They were employed by the Panda King to protect his compound in the Kunlun Mountains of Western China.
These huge, big-fisted apes wear a pink bandana and a white loincloth. Each of them are accompanied with a small monkey minion named Won Ton that they use to attack their foes. They throw the monkeys from rudimentary catapults, making them grow into snowballs as they roll down their throwing path. If they manage to land a successful hit, they will cuddle the monkeys. Whenever they are approached up close, they will cease their attacks and cower in fear, similar to the fire turtles in Mz. Ruby's lair.
According to Sly Cooper's binocucom, their scientific name is Gorillus Catapultus, and they fear thieving raccoons. Their minions have the scientific name Monkius Spherium, and are one of the few enemies to lack additional information on the binocucom.
