Mandrills, also known as Kung Pao, were enemy guards encountered in "Fire in the Sky" of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. They were employed by the Panda King to protect his stronghold in the Kunlun Mountains.

Description

They are purple mandrills with a green muzzle and red and white pants. Their eyes are red and yellow, which give them a somewhat crazed look. Their weapon of choice is a staff, which, along with their karate moves, proves to be a very effective weapon. Sly's binocucom states that they live for the World Cup. Also, statues of these guards can be found in the Panda King's stronghold and General Tsao's palace.

Other appearances

Mandrill guards also appear in the Thievius Raccoonus PC game. They act as enemies in the Fire in the Sky minigame and will attempt to collect 25 paper lanterns before the player can do so.
