Walkthrough:Saloon Bug
"Saloon Bug" is a job for Sly Cooper and Bentley in "Go West Young Raccoon" of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.
Objective
Plant a bug in Toothpick's office to figure out what his plans are.
Goals
- Serve sarsaparilla to the guards
- Find a way to the vent
- Navigate the vent with the RC car
Walkthrough
First, as Sly, climb up to the saloon. Control with then switch to Bentley, and you must serve drinks of sarsaparilla to the guards by moving to each of the seven lanes with 
, and slide drinks to them using 
. You have to serve 30 bulls, and if you get three strikes, by either sliding drinks to an empty lane or failing to serve a guard the necessary sarsaparilla, you will fail.
As each bull pops up, they will have a speech bubble with either one, two or three glasses in it. Slide that many drinks to them to get them to leave. As time passes, the speech bubble will fill from right to left, curses appearing at the bottom at 3/4 full, and if it completely fills, you will get a strike. After getting drinks to 30 bulls, control will switch back to Sly.
Travel across the pipes hanging from the ceiling, avoiding the spotlight, then jump across the ninja spire point to the mantle. Crawl through the vent, then walk across the next three pipes until you are near a casino sign. Switch the Jailbird Costume with 
, then hit the sign with 
.
Go through the crawlspace, then jump onto the pipe, and go the raised balcony. Switch into the Jailbird Costume again, and hit the large sarsaparilla vat with the ball and chain so they slide along the tracks in an "S" pattern, while avoiding the spotlight that travels from left to right. Climb up the side of the vat, then wall sneak until you make it to the large card decorations. Jump and grab the neon light with 
, then grab the large circular neon light, while avoiding the spinning lasers. Grab the next card, before landing on the banister, then finally landing on the fan, and jumping to the vent.
You now take control of Bentley's RC car. is accelerate, is reverse, 
is boost, and 
is shoot. While traveling through the vent, avoid touching the lasers and spiders, and don't get blown over by the fans that blow at regular intervals. The diverging paths both lead to final destination. Mission complete.
Sly Mask locations
- The only mask in this area can be found in the large room filled with bull guards. It sits atop a large carriage wheel. Use the hook on the back to reach it.
