Adrenaline Burst is a purchasable power-up for Bentley in Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.
Description
Adrenaline Burst allows Bentley to temporarily get a burst of speed, moving up to twice as fast as sprinting speed, at the cost of some Gadget Meter. It is best used for a getaway, similar to Guttural Roar and the Smoke Bomb. Since Bentley is moving faster than a normal pace during Adrenaline Burst, he can still alert otherwise unaware guards to his presence if he zips by them.
In Sly 2 and Sly 3, the move has to be assigned to a button (either 
, 
, or 
) on the Gadget Grid in order to use it. In Sly 2, Bentley's feet run in a cartoonish rolling fashion. In Sly 3, Bentley's wheelchair activates jet engines that appear to be repeatedly activated in order to achieve the burst of speed.
In Thieves in Time, the move is performed by double-tapping 
. Here, a massive flame of engine exhaust covers the back of the wheelchair and propels Bentley forward.
