"Bearcave Bugging" was a job for Sly Cooper in "Menace from the North, eh!" of Sly 2: Band of Thieves.

Walkthrough

Location

The job beacon is located near the sawmill, on top of a small cabin next to it. Use the tightropes nearby or the log ramp to reach it.

Mission

Crawl into the bear cave below and swipe the six radio transmitters from the bears' mouths. You can only steal the devices from them as they are yawning. Just be sure not to run, or step on the ice.

Remember to use Sly's new ice wall climb move here.

The first bear is just ahead; hop over the ice and approach it to pickpocket the first transmitter once its mouth is open. The second bear lies to the left, past some more ice. The third bear is up ahead, facing towards the wall on the left. The fourth bear is further up, facing the same direction but also sleeping on a large sheet of ice. You will need to climb your way over him by using the ice wall. Once you grab the fourth transmitter, climb back over to get to the fifth bear. Watch your step as you pass the patches of ice. With only one transmitter left, you will need to traverse another ice wall to make your way around the cave to the sixth and final bear.

Once you have all of the transmitters, grab the wall hook on the left, then swing your way over the ice to return to the crawl space, then exit the cave to begin the next phase.

Now you must place the transmitters in the locations marked by waypoints.

• Location #1: Head to the base of the tree next to the sawmill.
• Location #2: Head to the silo behind the sawmill.
• Location #3: Head to the small slope in front of the sawmill, above the oil main.
• Location #4: Head to the house near the mill with the laser.
• Location #5: Head to the silo next to the mill with the laser.
• Location #6: Head to the top of Bison's house. Either use the wall of ice next to the house, or use the claw-shaped crags (reached from the roof of the sawmill) to reach his roof.

Once all transmitters are in place, you can return to the safe house and listen to Bison's conversations.
