"Kidnap the General" was a job for Murray in "A Tangled Web" of Sly 2: Band of Thieves.

Walkthrough

Objective

Kidnap the General and bring him back to the safe house.

The mission

Upon starting the mission, approach General Clawfoot and pick him up like any other guard. Now simply carry him back to the gang's hideout. Using the Atlas Strength power-up makes this mission significantly easier.

The general is only susceptible to fire and water, so avoid those hazards. While carrying him, his constant mumbling may attract nearby guards. He can also come in handy as a projectile to throw at any guards following behind. Once you successfully bring the old bat to the porch of the safe house, Bentley will finish the job with a little torture.
